Furthermore, ODATA is implementing an ISRS-based management system. ISRS (International Sustainability Rating System) is a system developed to measure, implement and demonstrate the performance of an organization in terms of safety, the environment, and the business. Through indicators, reports, and continuous process improvements, the company certifies that it is compliant with all international standards.
ODATA is committed to the adoption of ecoefficient programs, to search for new economically feasable technologies, to optimize water, energy and paper consumption, and to foster the conscious use of solid waste.

ODATA is always committed to adjusting its activities to the environmental laws in the countries where it operates.
DC SP01 is one of the few Data Centers in Latin America with a LEED Gold certification for sustainable constructions of high energy efficiency.
In its facilities, ODATA offers a recharge station for electric vehicles, water reuse systems, faucets, and lighting with sensors and dimmers to reduce water and energy consumption, solar panels, and LED lamps, motion sensors, and timers in all spaces. Furthermore, the company maintains a system for the correct disposal of diesel oil, lamps, electronic devices, batteries, and contaminated solids (debris).
ZERO WASTE PROJECT
A pilot project to obtain the UL ECVP 2799 certification (Environmental Claim Validation Procedure for Zero Waste to Landfill). This certificate acknowledges waste treatment practices with rates equal to or higher than 80%.

FREE COOLING SYSTEM:
This system uses external ambient temperature to reduce energy consumption by shutting down the Chiller compressors, providing cooling through outdoor air temperature. Thus, it is possible to reduce waste and energy consumption on colder days, helping to reduce PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness).
